TAX

Inside the European Union

We add Value Added Tax (VAT) to all orders shipping to customers within the EU. As per the present rules (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/194), we use the Danish VAT rate of 25%! (Yes, it is very high. No, we can not change that. Yes, only Hungary’s rate of 27% is higher).

If you are a EU-based  corporation with a valid VAT-number, please contact us before your purchase as we can then issue a VAT-free invoice to your corporation.

Outside the European Union

You can pay tax free from our shop but you may – depending on local rules which we don’t know anything about – need to pay some additional import tax (and other taxes) to the local authorities when the goods enter the country stated in the delivery adress.

Delivery

How long it will take my order to be delivered?

Your order will be shipped within 3 business days. The time of delivery can take from 5 working days (inside Europe) up to 30 business days (outside Europe) or sometimes even longer depending on the location.

Where do we ship from

We have two warehouses withing the European Union: One in Denmark and one in Portugal.  The goods are shipped from one or the other location depending on stock availability and final destination.

Update: Coronavirus situation

Due to COVID-19’s greater force of containment, several Postal Operators are taking extraordinary measures to reduce human contact, with a reduction in workers in all services. These measures translate into a strong impact on the operation, with anticipation of delays and a reduction in the quality of the service provided and the collection of signatures from the Registered Mail and Orders not always possible to ensure.

There is also an reduction in air transport services, implying the discontinuity of airlines, so that only a few destinations will remain in operation, albeit with limitations.

Who do we ship with

Lidefuld uses use Post Nord when shipping from Denmark and CTT when shipping from Portugal. For watches we use UPS (standard).

Can I track my order

All companies provide tracking number to the goods. As soon as your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with a link to a tracking service that allows you to check on progress. Sadly, in some countries (such as USA), tracking does not always fully cover the whole process all the way. No need to worry, this does not mean that your order got lost. However, if your order still hasn’t arrived after the quoted delivery date has passed, please contact us.

Taxes and Duties

Under Danish & EU VAT Law, VAT is due on all sales to private individuals (or companies not providing a valid VAT registration number) where the goods will be taken to or delivered to an address in the EU.

Danish VAT is not charged where the goods are exported (and the export is evidenced) to a destination outside the EU. This includes Norway and Switzerland but – so far – not the UK.

Where goods are delivered to destinations outside the EU, these may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. The recipient of the goods is responsible for all customs formalities at importation, and will be required to pay any additional charges, including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges.

If you’re ordering goods to be delivered to someone else, please make sure they are aware that they’ll be responsible for these additional charges.

Can I opt for express shipping?

If you require express shipping please contact us. We will give you a quote and a delivery date estimate. Afterwards, we will provide you information about how to pay for your order.

Returns

We want you to enjoy shopping at Lidefuld with complete confidence, which is why, if you buy something from us and you are not 100% satisfied or it is faulty, you can return it.

To return a product, you will need to send the item back to us within 14 days. Before returning please contact us. You can do so by writing us an email to info(a)Lidefuld.com. The product must be sent back securely in protective packaging. When you exercise this right, you will have to pay for freight to send the shipment back to us. Upon receiving the returned goods, all items will be checked that they meet the conditions under the returns policy/procedure. A refund or replacement will be processed as quickly as possible. Returned goods are normally processed upon their return. If your product is not refunded / returned and/or you do not hear from us within 9 business days, please contact us.
